My pet peeve is water hoses and attached sprayers.
I want a hose that I can keep charged and not find one speck of moisture at any fitting.

If you find a hose and sprayer combo that is solid, let me know.

The first thing I do (every season) is replace the o-ring. I use the round rubber ones.

I was in the sign business 28 years, 26 on my own so I feel for ya. I doubt that can be doctored up and hope your customer understands.

Who made the file? Looks like there was a point added by mistake in the vector image. Probably wouldn't show up on the screen but the tool sees it.

I use teflon tape on all connections for air and the tanks/lines hold air for weeks.

Re: Things I Hate

Me too.
But in this case, the gauge just rotted out and a leak resulted.
I just have to either replace the gauge our plug the hole.

This is the tank pressure gauge, not hose gauge. I don't even use it. I keep that compressor in the trailer. It's the larger of the two that I have, and the way it's situated I can't even see the gauge. I have a pancake I use for portability.

Procrastinating should be a Thing I love.

Instead, I gassed up the big chain saw and ran it until dark.

They done a pretty good job plugging it. Had to work the brushed finish our self though. Got it up today though.

Re: Things I Hate

Pushing yourself to get a job done so it can be delivered tomorrow. Doing finishing and using the formula you worked up meticulously and having it have a red undertone instead of the yellow it's suppose to, for whatever reason. Giving up at 1:30am because you don't want to spray the fronts of doors or drawer fronts or cabinets because the client doesn't want a red undertone.

So now I get to call her up and tell her it ain't happening.

Great job. I'd be wanting a discount for the extra troubles. I don't know why they didn't run a paper patter first for something like that.

It helped that the sign was not in a building lobby where people would be much closer to see any defects.

Yeah there's no way it would have past in that situation.

What's crazy is they knocked up a thin metal template first in exact curve and profiles with holes. This random hole just appeared from nowhere.
