Re: Things I Hate

I hate when people don't understand how insurance works. Especially when they should have gotten 35, 000 and they only got 25,000 and 15 of that is deductible. They got 6 bids, mine was a cash pay bid for 25. The others were in between 14-18,000. Now they want me to do the work for 18.

I said let me see the estimates and see if we are comparing apples to apples here. I don't even know what yr shingle they bid the job on. Everything's a big secret cuz some controll freak is in charge of the project. He keeps saying, what does the other estimates have to do with whether you can do the job for 18,000 or not?

I said well it has everything to do with it! If you're asking me if I can do what I proposed for 18, the answer is no. And neither can anyone else. If you're asking me if I can do what the other guys proposed for 18, the answer is probably yes, but I wont because I'm not going to half azz it with a budget that tight that I chance losing on the job or I'm forced to use 2nd run shingles and buy all my other mats on craigslist.

Oh yeah and by the way, you're committing insurance fraud.

Re: Things I Hate

My daughter watched ET for the first time yesterday. Her eyes were glued to the tv. She calls him the goblin. I didn't even know she knew the word.

Re: Things I Hate

did the US have Cayou, the little whiny bald headed kid? My Grandmother was reading it to my much younger cousin and all I overheard was my grandmother saying..."I think this Cayou kid should quit complaining and wipe his own bum" he was such a whiny little TV character
