I have one of those dental mirrors and it has a flashlight on it..

I'm a bit out of touch, but why pierce the tongue in the first place? I never understood that, or face/neck tattoos. And, after biting the barbell a few times, why not just chalk it up to a bad idea and remove it?...problem solved.

When you have a finger nail only hanging on by the cuticle. How do I get it off? Don't want to rip it out but it's very annoying. Or do I leave it on?

It's gonna fall off anyway!!! You may as well nip it at the bud!

Never understood it either. Worked with a fella years ago that had his tongue pierced and then 'reportedly' had it done to his private region. Real proud, wanted to show people.

Finally, to shut him up, I told him that if he knew how or if he knew how to then he wouldn't need all that stupid metal parts hanging off of him.

That got him to drop the subject pretty quick...

Re: Things I Hate

When the GC tells you to bring up the kitchen cabinets and you get there the floor isn't sanded and 1st coated.

Then the owner calls me and says the furniture you brought up looks great, but the room isn't ready, the floor needs sanding, the walls need more work...etc...

Now I have to wait for the second delivery. And worry about my cabinets with the crew that needs to move them around to do the floors and sand the drywall.

WTF>

I dunno either. Because I was a stupid kid and I thought it was cool. And because it pissed my parents off. I think i was 15 when I got it and I took it out after I bit it a few times... then i got it done again at 16 for some reason and I had to take it out at 17 when i went off to boot camp. Thank God for that...

When the GC that told you to deliver the cabinets now tells you to move them to another room. The house is 1 hour away, so round trip is 2 hours and it's about 10-12 minutes worth of moving. I certainly enjoyed working 15 hours over the nice weekend pushing to get this delivery over there on time for them.

Sounds like they need to get slapped with a trip charge.

If I had a quarter for every stupid thing I did, I could buy and sell Warren Buffett. I'm trying to limit my stupid decision to just three a day now. It's not easy.lol

Re: Things I Hate

Both the boss and I having been trying to get a hold of our rep to find out where our replacement doors are because he screwed up the first order. They were supposed to be delivered last week and it's holding up our painter. I think it's time for a new rep, the guy is so disorganized I swear he probably has his socks labelled so he doesn't accidentally put them on his hands instead.
