Re: Things I Hate

That's how I'm going to finish painting it tomorrow. Today I used my wooden extension pole. I think I got more paint on the skylight then the walls this time. Not much on me though.

I'm pulling off that job for a couple of weeks after tomorrow. I'll figure out how to clean the skylight then.

Residential actually , looks real random but that's cause it's stacked in groups for different areas of the house.

City boy wusses who have 3/4 4x4 trucks but wont drive through a one foot low water crossing.....

Having a 4x4 pick up and not using it except to go to Home Depot is as useful as a gay guy having an opportunity with Kate Upton.... I hate wasted talent. Get out of my way!

If he wasn't familiar with the crossing or hadn't seen someone else go though it, I'd give this one to him. If someone else went through it and he still wouldn't go, he's just timid. I saw plenty of city guys in trucks stuck under a MOPAC underpass during one storm - they thought they could go through it, but they were wrong. Way more than a foot.

Here's me hanging out the sunroof of my buddy's BMW crossing a creek with over 1 1/2 feet of water.

It was all good until we hit that big rock

Not with the roads around here.

An underpass flooded last year and I went through anyways, but a car in the opposite lane was stuck; once it drained he found the road plate hadn't been put back in place when the workers left (or magically "floated" out, and his front wheel was stuck in a 2'x2' trench that almost ran the length of the lane.

How they can ***** up putting those plates on so often is beyond me, I've seen a good half dozen exposed holes with plates either put halfway on or just completely not there in the past two years. I narrowly dodged one on the expressway one evening, just wide and deep enough to grab and tear off a big tire. Was still there the next evening.

Sherwin Williams sells brush extensions that work a charm in situations like that, and back-brushing clear coats on ceilings. Threads onto an extension pole and even has angle adjustment, works nicely for cutting in over stair wells and the like once you get a feel for it.

I'm with John on this one...

We've had more rain than we know what to do with but it hasnt slowed me down much. Chevrolet didn't put that Z71 4x4 sticker on the side for me to not use it.

Ramps are closed at all of the lakes around here. Hasn't stopped me from throwing her into 4 wheel and backing down the hill side into the lake. Best fishing in years right now.

Maybe I should recount the time I started to float going UP an on-ramp half way up the ramp. Driving uphill in a fast moving stream.

I was supposed to go to a going away party for a friend out of town. Now I'm stuck on the side of the highway with an engine that won't hold oil pressure.

Fk me.

That would work, but it was only an 8x6 bathroom. Just a very skinny box. If I used a taller scaffold, I might have gotten stuck.
