Re: Things I Hate

Making miter cuts that slant in the wrong direction when I'm installing trim.

People who say, "Do you need any help???" when they really can't do much to help me.

Infomercials that make simple tasks look complicated so that they can sell you their product. e.g. "You have to pull that tab on the soda can..WHAT A HASSLE! But if you get the Tab Puller...blah blah blah..."

People who drive 55 (or slower) in the left lane.

When cashiers don't know how to properly count back my change. Rather than counting up to the bill that I gave them, they actually count out what they are giving me or just give it to me in one big pile.

When young parents do NOTHING about their crying baby in a public setting.

Shopping carts with messed up wheels.

Loud motorcycles.

They just annoy people, the sound is behind you not in front; they don't save anything.

I would not own a Harley....however, I'd also never own a crotch rocket. I'm all about the comfortable cruise (with loud pipes).

You're too classy. You need to start going to the ones that give you a free shot when you walk in the door.

Telemarketers - especially those who ignore the fact you're on the national Do Not Call List & call anyway.

There should be a law that permits open season on them.

I disagree. Your telling me you never heard a bike with loud pipes until it was allready past? Yes its loudest after it passes but its also louder on approach.
Regardless its my opinion in comparison of rideing my bike or the GF's that drivers are more likely to change lanes into the lane I am attempting to occupy when I am on a bike that is quiet. At her request I put a louder pipe on hers.
I do agree that there are bikes out there with pipes that are too loud.

That is more about you than her. HOW you respond will dictate the future path of such a situation.

Very true, the bike would have to be moving faster than the speed of sound to not hear it coming
