Re: Things I Hate

I had to Google June Bug. I heard the name, didn't know what it was. We have those bugs here. I just call them beetles. They don't bother me.

I hate spiders. I don't know the good from the bad when it comes to spiders so I lump them into the same category. I don't go in their house. I don't want them in mine.

I hate people that drive 50 mph in parking lots. What are they trying to prove? How great their insurance policy is?

So I decide to go lay down and read for a bit before I crash.. so I'm in bed boots hanging off the edge of the bed and all the sudden I feel a pinch on my thigh.. I slap my hand down and feel a big crunchy lump.. I immediately knew it was a June bug. I sat up real quick and kinda did a slow motion "oh God please don't be a June bug please don't be a June bug!" And pull my pants away from my waist kinda flipping them inside out at the same time and UUUUUUGGH! It Was a June bug! KILL ME! IN MY PANTS? HOW THE HELL did it get way up there without me feeling it!! Ugh my skin is crawling just thinking about it! When that thing came flying out of my pants I kicked the crap out of it, bounced off the wall and errythang! Then i stomped his guts out! And jumped up and down like a girl in my room yelling oooo ooo oooo. cuz i cant stand THE crunching of a bug feeling under my foot. Sick! And because a freckin June bug had touched my skin! Yuck!
June bug? That's it? If it was a cockroach I'd understand.

Re: Things I Hate

O my it might as well have been a cockroach... here's one on its last leg here in my garage.. it's like the down syndrome spawn of a beetle and cockroach. Not the regular size cock roaches either... it's like those texas waterbugs..the super roaches. Lol. I'm going to coin that name..super roach.. let's see how fast that gets around the world... I can see the history books now, "the Giant Water Bug - (Lethocerus americanus) now called the super roach...."

Dig the green June bugs, the iridescent shimmering of their exoskeleton as they buzz around in the sunlight.......

Having the guy helping me toss a block down to be trimmed when I zoned out and catching the corner in the top of my hand, hello swollen hand.

My old vet told me once that dawn dish soap will get ticks off your dog. Apparently the ticks don't like it and they stop biting and try to get away from it. I've never had the opportunity to try it though

Just a normal washing or a swim can work. I wouldn't use Dawn on a dog - some would develop a skin condition.
