And they act like you shot their dog when you say you don't have one and don't want to sign up.

Seriously, what good is the My Lowe's card for contractors? They seem to push harder at the contractors checkout from my experience. However, if I go to a box store I much prefer HD so my Lowe's experience is limited.

I try to run everything I can through the local yard but I'm in Lowes more than I care to admit.

Nearest Home Depot is about 90 miles away.

Brett, that's the thing about here in Philly: tons of Lowe's and Home Depots, very little yards.

Re: Things I Hate

I hate how inflated the prices of used trucks are, a 2010 F150 with 100k miles is still 22 grand and a 2004 similarly equipped with 70k miles is 18 grand. It just doesn't make sense to me. All I want is a 4wd extended cab F150 with power windows and locks..

Yeah, that's not all I saw - drill bits, pliers, all beat to $h1t and returned...

Me too. The more I think about a project, the harder it is to fall asleep.

I've seen a couple of tile saws go back, that had clearly been used to do a bathroom. No questions asked by HD.

Holy ****, i've never heard of someone using a saw blade and then returning. That is screwed up. Putting it back on the shelf is even more crazy.

On second thought, maybe it was out of balance which would be the reason for the return, not for putting it back on the shelf.

Re: Things I Hate

I just returned a Nintendo hand held that had all kinds of technical issues. The the store had sold it to me as brand new. Turns out when I called Nintendo to transfer my account from the old device to the new one they told me that 5 different IDs had been attached to that device. The store had been reselling a defective product several times over. I phoned the store after that and called out the manager. Probably won't make a difference but I hate it when companies pull that crap.

They do it all the time around here - I see this crap at lowes and depot. You have to look carefully before you put something in your shopping cart.
