Me, I find a spot in traffic and adjust my speed so I just end up merging with the open space.

Like it's done in the rest of the world where they have on ramps...or should be done anyway

In Texas its the on ramps yield highway traffic. Service roads, frontage road, feeder road (which ever name you use) yield to the exit ramps. That is seldom done but that's suppose to be law. Seems like I have to reeducate people everyday on that law

My thought is when somebody is entering highway traffic ....I'm already on the highway, it's not my job to figure out how they should get on the highway and it's a hell of lot easier for them to slow down than me with a car behind me doing 70 MPH. I WILL however pull over to the inside lane to let them on as a courtesy IF the lane is clear.

You merge like a zipper here, occasionally get idiots trying to jump their spot but they usually end up waiting at the end of the ramp with their indicators on.

You don't know this yet, but I just ruined your 'bathroom door opening experience' for life. Even Inner will start using a hanky from here on out.

People who drive like this. This person would center in the lane at a stop light or sign, but as soon as we get going again they do this.
Must be some sort of game they play to get a reaction.

Hypermilers do that on purpose, supposedly to let you know they're going to be speeding up and then coasting down....

OTOH, drunks do that too.

Hypermilers.

They do it to let you know they're stupid enough to think hypermiling works.

People who think they can get 100+ mpg from their prius, by driving so stupidly and slowly that the hatred of drivers stuck behind them creates a force field that propels the car forward.
