There is a couple pix of one I did last summer...who knows how many pages back in this thread. It was something like a tub plus 4 1/2 ' x 3 1/2' of floor area including the toilet and vanity area. Yuk. Glad I didnt have to touch the tub!

I usually don't, but I had the h/o buy the tub and shower. I told them to get 3 or 4 piece units. They got 2 price sets. They are in Florida so the mud/ laundry room is between the two bathrooms. It has a door to the deck, so we cut 2 stud bays out so we could get the units in.

Also the pex used has a **** hair smaller wall on it, so we got all the water lines done, went to pressure test, and every place we crimped blew off. Also no shut offs any where.

The roofers cut the gas line. I'm not sure why it was even there.

All the drains are abs. We can only use PVC. So I hope the inspector passes us.

So I hate trailers

What about spiders?

And you're the only person I know who don't like Chinese food. Not that there's anything wrong with that

Re: Things I Hate

Went to the closest hardware store to pick up a couple of metal cutting blades - all they had was an off brand. Bought them because, hey, it's mild steel, and thin so I don't care if they last very long, it's an easy cut. Both blades smoked without making hardly a dent. Now I do 1.5 hours round trip to get a decent blade - should have just done this to begin with.

I'm pretty sure you knew better. I bought sand paper from the dollar store and all the grit fell off the first stroke.. I knew better. And I'm pretty sure the right to complain gets revoked when u know better.

My daughter missed that memo and decided to make owl noises. So, I thought, don't make a big fuss, she'll lose interest. Nope. She just got louder and faster: WHOOOO! WHOOOO! WHOOO!

Then I tried explaining that's it's bed time and not the time for owl noises. Why Daddy? Cause it's late. What about kitty cat noises? Etc.

I can't really complain about the blade - after all, I was hoping I'd get lucky at that point - I already wasted the half hour round trip, so I might as well buy what they have and try them. But I still get to complain that the only 6" metal cutting blades a hardware store stocks wouldn't open a tin can without self destructing.

The upside is I bought some Diablo metal cutting blades to try out for the first time (hey, it's thin and mild steel, they should work OK), and they worked great.
