Things I Don't Understand

We've had "Things I Hate" and "Things I Love". I think it's about time for "Things I Don't Understand".

I'll start.

I don't understand rap music.

I don't understand why an attractive, shapely woman will wear a push-up bra with a low cut tank top and then be offended when I say "Nice Cleavage" out loud (even if I did think I was just thinking it).

Re: Things I Don't Understand

1. How total incompetence is so rampant in every industry

2. Why voters vote for candidates that want to take freedom and money away from other people while they let losers sit on their ass

3. Why a prospect would ever use the word "cheap" or announce that their goal is to find the "cheapest" contractor when getting a acquainted with a professional tradesman

4. What the hell customers were thinking when they delay payment because they didn't bring the check book or need to transfer money when the agreement plainly states the draw schedule and milestones and it is obvious from what has been accomplished that a payments due.

5. How CEOs making millions of dollars, run a company into the ground, and then get a huge severance on the way out the door

6. How liberals think they and others are entitled to anything that is mine or yours or how being generous with someone else's money is some how anything other than taking credit for someone else's contribution to society.

7. Why prospective tenants look for an apartment without the money needed to rent one.

8. That intellectual lightweights and nut job celebrities and the idiots that interview them ask them questions that they are not qualified to answer and the public listens to them

9. Why so many when confronted with an obvious lie so fully refuse to tell the truth or apologize and move on.

People who would rather finance a poorly designed and lesser quality project through Home Cheapo than buy something better (and cheaper) outright. If they are that strapped on cash, why are they even doing the project to begin with?

On the opposite side of that, what about a helper with so much "initiative" that they wander off and find something to do when what you wanted was for them to stay right with you and be a helper.

Re: Things I Don't Understand

10. Being interrupted when speaking over and over and over when answering someone's rather important questions.

11. Giving someone a perfect solution to a problem they are over-stimulated about that is within their budget and timely only to hear them repeat their problem a half dozen more times as if you didn't solve it.

Each are the "never listen only waiting (or not waiting) for a turn to speak people" duh

12. Tire kickers and people that like to talk business but don't ever DO business. I speculate they like attention paid to them and being taken seriously by professional salespeople but don't have a budget, balls or wherewithal to pull the trigger.

Why people say axe instead of ask.

Why people say acrosst instead of across.

That's about it.

Re: Things I Don't Understand

I don't understand Obama voters, stricter gun control advocates, people who want bigger government, or how that idiot Henry Waxman stayed in congress for 40 years.

I don't understand how someone could believe in evolution over intelligent design, in no god over God, in subjective morality over objective morality, or that pro sports are more real than pro wrestling.

I don't understand the reasons for political correctness, for blurring gender distinction, for softening masculinity, for being a vegan, or for liking Justin Beiber.

I don't understand why people believe the news, politicians, celebrities, or advertisements based on "one weird trick".
