The EIDL is there for a quick (quick is a relative term) influx of capital.

Apply for both, they figure it out at their end.

This is how it is susposed to work, we'll see if it does.

I have the EIDL pending (apparently), should I still apply or the PPP?

My payroll isn't huge, but it's there.

Edit: I called the bank I have my business accounts with. They didn't even know what I was talking about.

She told me I had to find the application at the state unemployment website.

Did your bank send you links to make it easier on you?

Contact your banker, they may have a link for you to get started. Thatís how I got the link for US Bank.

So far, mine is moving along nicely.

I got an email from the bank this morning that the SBA approved my PPP. They then said they are waiting for the SBA to tell them how to close on the loan and disburse the funds.

No longer accepting applications from my lender. Did not get mine in in time for this first round. Guess they are catering to the big dogs first.

Re: Sticky For Covid Businees Info

I have about another weeks worth of work, but NJ put a stop work order in effect Fri. night.
Kind of ambiguous on the rules. Seems I could work if I really pushed it.

I'm thinking of applying for the unemployment.
An article in todays paper says apply, but the state doesn't have it figured out how to handle independent contractors yet.

Anybody else from NJ apply just for the unemployment?

Depending on where job is how many people residents etc you could probably bang next week and finish. Push it. If cops show up. Be respectful polite have a mask on and say I'm wrapping up closing / up job. Didn't want to leave exposed cant afford wework due to weather. Make safe to get out of here. The last a cop wants to do deal with this and especially a prick.

Apply for stimulus. At least it will be there if you need it . your not obligated to take even though you'll be approved. God willing there's any money left.

I went to work like normal, the place we were working on is an essential business.

The work we did certainly wasn't essential for it function, but it did have to get done.

It comes back with an error message and tells you to call in, guy was on hold for 6 hours then the place closed

It searches for your last w2 form employer linked with your tax return

I don’t think there’s any money left. Mr. Trump said today that he asked Nasty P. to approve more.

Also got me thinking.
I will be 62 next month and can start collecting SS. You are allowed one start and stop so if things kick back into gear I can cut it off.

Not allowed to earn more than $18,000 in for a year but that can easily be kept down by making some major purchases for the business.

One of the jobs really is essential.
His patio door literally has separated from the frame and is ready to fall out of the jamb.
