So What's Up With The NFL Junkies?

Normally an NfL thread but not so far this year. Is it because no NFl team is acting how it's supposed to? (Except the Pats) Bucs are balling last few weeks, actually fun to watch, forgot what that was like.

I've been Steelers through and through ever since the Bradshaw days when I was little....But damn if it dont tear my nerves up watching them play. Some weeks you think they're unstoppable, some weeks they couldn't beat our local high school team

I know me too. The defense is playing better of late I was worried with Lebeau's departure. Ben not as sharp either but we have weapons. I dont know who else can stop the Pats in the AFC

I know we are all human, and we all make mistakes, but apparently being a good ref, isn't a requirement to be a ref

Re: So What's Up With The NFL Junkies?

I believe poor officiating is really hurting the NFL. College has so much more action and seem to actually let them play. Playoffs this year should be great, who would have thought Dallas and Raiders would play this well.

Pat's D looked great last 2 weeks, Giants coming on strong, Dolphins have a team this year. Gotta love a season of unpredictable football.

Kapernick is a untalented moron, Fitzpatrick should worry about football, not his contract. Why the hell did they pay Oswiller $72 mill? He walked into Payton's offence for what 6 games? Nothing better than seeing Crybaby Newton at 5-8.

Re: So What's Up With The NFL Junkies?

The NFL colossus is getting long in the tooth, except for the playoffs. The players can't stay healthy, endless commercials, lousy aging announcers (mostly), etc. It's just getting old. I probably watched the equivalent of two games total this year so far, bits and pieces here and there. It's more a show, not a game anymore.

(wait....maybe I'M getting old)

I think that's pretty accurate. In the 90's I wouldn't miss a single game as a kid, every game I could watch I did. It stayed that way all the way up until they started changing the game so much. No longer can a corner flat lay the wood to a receiver if he just touches the ball. In the past 2 years I've maybe watched about 6 games including playoffs.

Maybe that's because the Bucs have been abhorent for a decade but I doubt it.

Pretty much solidified as the best QB ever. I will listen to the argument for Montana but he's it. No one else is even close.

I'm a Bucs fan, who happens to love good solid football. He's the epitome of that. Can't really be argued.
