Slack is probably another stock that will go through the roof. The product is solid. Opens today or tomorrow.

Oops..it opened already, up 50% at 39. Symbol: WORK

Re: Slack (stock)

With so many messaging apps on the market I see this one coming back down fast.

This one's for corporate internal communication, so it has legs.

Mark, did you listen to the Slack episode of How I Built This?

It's great.

Re: Slack (stock)

I would venture a guess real corporate comms are done through Microsoft Lync or teams or what ever they are calling it these days.

I mean slack is a great app I use it myself (the free version) but I don't see it being highly deployed in business environments as most are on an office 365 plan which often includes a lync license.

I also read today Microsoft has banned the use of slack in their corporation.

My corporate buddies say they have dropped slack and are using Teams.

Re: Slack (stock)

I have a small account that I buy and sell with. Small enough that it doesn't hurt to lose it.

Main money is just in an index fund. Being boring but growing.

And I am a fan of How did they build that? Slack episode was pretty good. Southwest might be my favourite.
