Re: A Sanctimonious Raconteur...

It doesn't bother me at all.

Just don't need to see it here. Or anywhere at all.

Dysfunctional? What about MY life seems dysfunctional?

Thanks for the nutritional advice. Lol

Guess he didn't know about Moderns boardroom huh? Wonder if that's still up? it was started by a member here and some of it was very very borderline. Deckhead would have seen a priest for an exorcism after viewing

Not really, Kowboy made one or two posts about his conquest. Nothing special, probably made up. Not sure why they didnít just delete the offending posts. Oh well, I really donít care. The thread pretty much ran its course. Jumped the shark.

It's hard to imagine this site surviving without those 20,000 views.

If nothing else, at least I learned what "Raconteur" means...

But where I'll agree with Irish, is if you are offended by it, don't read it... no ones forcing you to... if you read something that you didn't like, there's only one person who made the decision to return to the thread...

Otherwise, the alternative is to let the proverbial book banning begin...

Sure, but maybe the point is having some minimum threshold of decency/decorum so more folks will stick around instead of moving on.

That's kinda' the point isn't it? It's like being on-site and the guys cutting up for the world to see and then trying to pretend they don't do it...

The challenge is, with the exception of two areas, the site IS public... and there's loads of stuff on here that would easily pass that minimum threshold of decency... I'm all for standards, just not selective standards based on individuals... certainly not our call... but...

It's contractortalk, not Emily's Post...

I will admit that I didn't follow that thread when it got down low, so just estimating where he took it. But it's good to fight the neanderthal stereotype from time to time.

Horse hooey. It's a pissing contest here. Who is the most morally superior, who possess the most extraordinay business acumen. Who is the most astute political analyst.

They say you get the President you deserve or that they are a reflection of the country. Is it any wonder then with so many ego centric, braggadocious, imperious individuals that you get somebody like Trump?

Weakness is met with cruelty, Vice is met with harsh criticism, and dissent is met with disdain.

I suspect that element, to the extent that it exists, has caused many to skedaddle.

Interesting that the topside of this site survived all these years without the need for any soft pr0n.

A one-handed, lonesome real estate novelist comes along, and suddenly people are being deprived of a quality experience.

Man you get lippy when you start hitting the sauce.

I had nothing to do with getting anything shut down. Unlike you, I don't get butt hurt, I just ignore it.

It is amazing me how my simple comment started such a sh!t storm.

Imagine how crazy it would have got if my "I reported this" comment was not a joke....
