Rush Limbaugh Cigar Choices

Robie sent me this link a few months ago. Interesting to read what he has to say about LFD Chisel.

A slimy thing to admit. Maybe he's kidding.

Not really. I guess it depends on how serious you are on the golf course. I think he's probably a lot of fun out there. If he told me that while I was playing I'd laugh. Certainly wouldn't call him slimy.

I'm sure he's fun. But he didn't mention that he tells his opponents, only that they are offered in friendship...

Reminds me of how the Phila Flyers had their own way of gaining a competitive advantage during their broad street bully days. They would show the visiting teams a "very good time" the night before games. And when their own team chaplain objected, they got a new chaplain.

Btw, I developed some sort of fine cigar allergy 30 years ago. Probably for the best. My older coworker died of mouth C at that time, and he was a regular.

I'm willing to bet he and the people he plays with are all out there to have a good time with plenty of laughs and probably more than a few "pranks".

Like I said, maybe he's kidding in how he told it.

But even if you're out for a round to have fun, it should be up to you to decide just how buzzed or lightheaded, whatever...you want to be. Better shots usually add to the enjoyment. Having a guy offer a cigar that he knows will knock out off your game would not be a cool move.

Again, maybe he's kidding in the telling of it.

Re: Rush Limbaugh Cigar Choices

It's a cigar, not a 3/4" round doobie.

Back in the days when I thought about quitting smoking and didn't have a smoke for a day or two, sure, I got a little light-headed after the first one. It lasted for 5 seconds. I doubt it would have interrupted anyone's golf game.

He's kidding...joking...having fun pointing out the harshness of the cigar. That's it.

The article looks like it's from 2006. Isnt that when he was popping a buttload of oxycontin? Couldn't imagine an addict thinking twice about getting an edge.

Re: Rush Limbaugh Cigar Choices

Rush Limbaugh has made a small fortune gabbing about politics for probably 30 years.

Thing about him is he knows certain stuff way ahead of time. This tells me he has sources deep inside.

Read one of his books and often before revealing something he'd preface it with "I have to be careful here"

My guess is he knows more than he lets on

Re: Rush Limbaugh Cigar Choices

Yeah Rush did it for sinister reasons then told everyone about it in a cigar article.

Do you not see how ****ing dumb that sounds?

It's his words, not mine. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, as they say. Maybe his story is to be taken as told...but for a laugh..
