Oh and can I change my CT name? I want Cali completely out of it.

So if I understand you correctly you would like to be known as "Forniadecks" now.

No "Cali"?

What part of Idaho you thinking of moving to? I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Boise. Going to scope it out with potential plans of moving there (north and maybe east of Boise). I'm not retiring though, I still got about 40-50 years of working left in me.

Re: Retiring And Contractor Talk

I have a brother that lives in Hazelton, Id. That's about 2 hours East of Boise.

He likes Idaho a lot. He'll probably never move back to the East coast.

Commiefornia is considering a huge exit tax so you might want to get a move on it before they suck you dry first.

Idaho doesn't recognize Cali tax code. Good luck collecting.

Yeah, I'm wondering how that would even work. One day I'm in Cali, the next I'm in Idaho. How would they even know?

I;m sure they'd find a way to put a tax lien on your tax return or something.

If it's true, maybe it'll slow down the influx.

“Getting a good amount of attention this week is our blog post on a California initiative proposal to raise income taxes on high-income earners, impose a new wealth tax, and seize 55% of assets in an exit tax. We explained in that post why it is poor tax policy and partially unconstitutional.”
