It doesn't see rough use but I bought a Carhart insulated, hooded jacket two years ago that is my go-to cold weather jacket. Granted, we're only talking maybe 7 with a 0 windchill at times but I wear it if it's 40 out. I tend to layer because I work mostly inside during the winter.

I have Carhart quilted overalls I've had for 20 years. I love them. They are what I wear in the above temps if I have to work outside.

My motto: I refuse to be cold or wet if I have any control over it..

We worked in mud often fixing water and sewer leaks. Zippers fail first year.

Re: Random Pictures For Fun.

I blew out three pairs over a span of two weeks.

Logger pants, and a couple pairs of the standard double knee.

All three failed at the rivet holding on the back pocket, ripping straight down.

I have one pair left. I prefer to wear out a different brand now.

But I do like their rain jackets.

They are hit & miss same item can be different quality, different shade of the same color depending on what country they were made in. My older stuff is fine, just bought long sleeve shirts bought 10 only kept 5 that were similar in quality.

I've switched to mostly Wrangler, the Carhartt shirts will probably be my last purchase from them.

Fire up the internet TV and first thing it shows is this gal reporting on the Bezos/National Enquirer/David Pecker blackmail scandal.

TFF - beavers talking about pecker.

And yes, I have a juvenile sense of humor.

Probably not, because snowflakes have no sense of humor. They were probably mortified instead.

There are a bunch if different Wranglers. I've gotten them mostly from Wally World. Here they stopped selling the relaxed fit.

The regular fit do have tiny pockets and an even tinier and useless coin pocket. It is half as wide and twice as deep. I use it to put driver bits and such in, and can't even get my finger in it hardly.

Then I bought a pair from Tractor Supply and they are the most comfortable jeans I've ever had. They are called Rugged Wear or some such on the back tag.

Re: Random Pictures For Fun.

I'm doing a lot of walking in our house for part of my cardio rehab.

Our house is fairly long. I go from den, dining and living room, family room, make a loop around kitchen island and head back.

Today this stuck out like a sore thumb in the family room floor.

See the hairline, shoulder, eye, shoulder, nose, jawline?
