Proposte 2015

I'm in Cernobbio, Italia at a textile expo. My wife is here sourcing material. I'm here sticking out like a sore thumb and talking to you nerds via the free WiFi.

I've been trying to think of a good analogy for what I could have dragged her to that would be an equivalent amount of boring and I think I'm going with Fastener Expo. Nails, mollys, and cotter pins as far as the eye can see. What's funny is that thinking about that makes me want to attend a fastener expo.

Silver lining, aside from the free WiFi, is that the Italians cannot get enough coffee so there's an espresso bar literally every 100 feet. Sorry, every 30 metres. I'm buzzing like damn hummingbird right now.

Arrivederci.

A fastener expo would be pretty awesome. An insurance convention might be a better analogy.

Re: Proposte 2015

An actuarial question then. One man spends 80 years wearing button down costumes, having conversations he doesn't care about, and making acquaintances he will never call. His alternate timeline self tears off his disguise, flips over the welcoming table at the door, then runs screaming into the streets where he toasts with and high fives every member of the community before getting hit by a cab a few short days later.
Who lived longer, and how much would you charge to insure the man who just threw his shoes into Lake Como in a glorious celebration of liberty?

The room I'm standing in right now is so nice that I can't even decide what to take a picture of.

You do you think you mitered 12" marble trim in the 1700s? Slowly I'll bet.

Who lived longer
It's a trick question-probably the street magician.
