Re: NFL-2012-13 Season

I've always liked the patriots by mainly just because I think Brady is a class act.

If by chump you mean one of the greatest football minds ever then yes you are correct.

He got caught cheating, remember that? And how about that press conference after the Seattle game? Did he actually say anything, or just mumble and grunt like a pissed-off twelve year old?

So in two decades he makes two mistakes and that makes him a chump. You take a ring from him for each of those incidents and he is still up there with the likes of Lombardi. .

Problem is belicheck got caught. Other coaches didn't. Where is Eric Mangini nowadays anyways? Strange he had no problem with it while he was with the team...

Belicheck is a good coach. Actually great coach.

Re: NFL-2012-13 Season

Belachek is a great coach, and I've always liked the Patriots, but not against the 9r's. I like Seattle too.

In fact, I like all the teams, I'm not sure that I have a dislike for anyone. Oh wait, there is America's team, the Cowboys. But I respected their players.

Re: NFL-2012-13 Season

The only knock I have on belichick is that he has been unable recently to piece together a decent defence to complement arguably the best qb ever.

Re: NFL-2012-13 Season

i dont like the patriots for two reasons.. they lucked out with the first superbowl... the greats walk through the game unchallenged... the tuck ruling really rubs me the wrong way.. its the #1 most controversial call in the history of the game.. #2 is the seattle touchdown against the packers in week 3 this season

the other reason i dont like them.. no one knew who they were until the first super bowl. i never saw so many patriot hats and shirts on people until that game... i remember seeing quite a few chicago bulls jackers after they won their first championship with jordan but the patriots take the cake

Worst part is that I couldn't even imagine the type of numbers Fitzgerald could put up if he an elite QB throwing to him.

Re: NFL-2012-13 Season

Good players are made great by the other team members and the underpaid coach guiding them to work together.

Last I heard, football was a team sport/business. - That is why there are traditions, respected teams and rivalries by others trying to be equals in the long term after the individuals are gone.

Chris Johnsons 98 yard sprint took my fantasy team to the semi finals.
