another thing to consider is harbough grew up in a football house.. look at the success his father and brother both have had at the collegiate and pro level as coaches.. chances are they pick each others heads occasionally in the off season

He was also a pretty decent QB, in college and the NFL. He should know what it takes to make it big in the NFL. Kaep's his man and Smith is the odd man out.

Too bad he'll be the second best, as well as the oldest, quaterback playing next Sunday in Seattle.

Should be a good game. Two teams that are very similar. Strong defenses, good runningbacks, and young QB's.

The Browns.......you guys are nuts.
Just think if Peyton chose San Fran, the kid Alex has been a yoyo for a while now and really deserves better. He should go to Arizona or the Browns.

Whats up Jay? The pats are a better all around team than the niners. If that is the playoffs the Pats win the game.

Maybe so, but this was at New England in NE weather.

I thought that the 9er defense let NE back into the game by playing more of a prevent defense vs. a lockdown defense. Once Brady got tracked, he was deadly.

The 9er's have a better defense and better running game. The Pat's have Brady.

Brady's achilles hill is a defence with a good pass rush, factor that in with that pats swiss cheese defence. I would give the niners a good chance even though they have a second rate qb.

I really thought the pats had cured their defensive ails,so last night was disheartening to say the least.

Hey Jack - who is "your" team?

Anyone remember when people were saying the Packers were done when they were 2-3? Or when the Bears were 7-1 and they would walk away with the division? Yeah, me either.

Go Pack Go.

Lovie will be looking for a new job after the GB game.

Somehow, the Packers remain consistent with relying on decades of good QBs and great fans, that own the team. They even block (discourage) the TV for the Viking games at the border.

Even the Vikings beat SF, for what that is worth.

Detroit is just as usual.
