More Fun Than A Pandemic

Is a pandemic with the kids at home AND finding out one of them has lice. Was just announced that one of the kids that was at school had lice before everyone was sent home. Wife, who freaks out about lice, went searching through hair. Found one.

Now, we get to fumigate everything through the washer and hair rinses not to mention I'm called on to vacuum beds, etc. Not cool.

Oh joy, I love me a good lice infestation.

Thankfully we've only had one so far, and caught it pretty early so wasn't to bad.

At 34 I seem to be getting asked a lot lately if I'm going to have kids.

Good thing you aren't in this state.

They started not sending kids with lice home. It was making the lice headed kids feel bad. So now they just let it run wild.

My SIL fought lice for years.

Ugh. What a PIA this is. Not sure how they deal with it in public school but ours send them home with lice and check everyone else and send them home if they have it. Well, they decided to tell everyone after the fact and now we found out my daughter has a couple.

Wife flips out over it. There wont be a lice knit within a 100 miles after she gets done but it means its somehow my problem...

I'm bald, I ain't getting lice, I didnt spread it stupid hair people...

Your kids are still young... Consider getting mattress protectors... saves the mattress and keeps it from issues like this, body secretions and odors...

Little cost... big value...
