A foam gasket from the big box will fix that right up.

A foam gasket will only prevent it from leaking into the house not into the wall and under the baseboard.

Looks like they’re going to need to do some major surgery.

It will still leak into the house. It will come in between the cover and device, and it will leak through the device.

Or turn the receptacle into a faucet and have honey on tap.
