Just For Fun. What Would You Invent?

Or better, what would you either invent or improve on regarding tools if you had the time, money and inclination? I would like to design a lighter nail gun.

Re: Just For Fun. What Would You Invent?

I would invent a mat for under an electric car to charge just by driving over it. This way you wouldn't have to plug it in at night. It would lay on your garage floor. I would capitalize on the libs laziness.

Jet Pack!

I have hundreds of other ideas, but a lot of them are actually doable.

A whole home generator that creates power by giant powerful magnets that use opposing forces to spin the drive. Does that exist yet?

thats already been invented. I think Toyota joined forces with samsung and the main company who invented it. Whats crazy is you can charge anything on the same system. like a car or a phone. No need for separate voltage systems for each device.

Re: Just For Fun. What Would You Invent?

An air compressor that uses ocean/big lake waves to power compression cylinders. Multiple stage compression cylinders could boost the pressure to whatever pressure was needed for use. The power could be stored in large tanks, & then used to power air motors to power electric generators. It would be expensive to set up, but the payback would be huge.
Just think about how much lift power a wave has per square yard!

Adjustable pliers with 30 degree offset jaws....for certain, hard-to-reach pita plumbing jobs. Something like oversize lineman pliers with an offset would work, too.

A drill with a stud finder built on the tip. Chisels that you don't have to sharpen for a week.

Tesla came up with the wireless power idea, he might have invented something too.
