Re: July 4th Weekend!?

As of now I'm taking it off. We will see what actually happens. I've had a busy week so I'm taking half a day tomorrow to spend time with my family. I guess it will be practice for next weekend.

Re: July 4th Weekend!?

5? Hell, no I'm taking like 6 or 7. Haven't taken this much time off in a couple years, moving shop and everything but that's kinda of fun right? I get to spend it with my kids and the wife said she'll help, so that's fun for me.

Daughter turns 1 on July 1st so we're going to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island then moving tools, then slip and slides and too many beers for Dad...

Funny part, I go to bed earlier on staycation then I do when working because I have a lot more "daddy juices" when I don't have something to do.

And the poll thread digresses.

We will have a three day weekend. I always give my guys a paid day off on the major holidays.

Re: July 4th Weekend!?

When I was younger(80's) we worked a few, but only a half day. Our logic was nothing really happens till later in the day. Kids were toddlers, wives got all the food ready. Man, life was good back then.
