Re: Jr. To Retire....

Did you know that the old Comiskey Park was built on top of a land fill?

I went to the first game in the new park and was able to snag a piece of the old park on my way out.

Only thing I got from Wrigley field was a burning sensation during urination.

Re: Jr. To Retire....

Most of current day Chicago downtown is built on a land fill (left over from the fire rubble).

I almost had a seat from Comiskey. Didn't happen. I got bricks from the old Stadium!

The 1 & only time I saw the cubs, I was in 1st grade, forced to go and learned what "boys town" was all about

I wanted to see him in one last game live. I went last year but he wasn't playing in the game I went to.

Re: Jr. To Retire....

Does the name Don Kessinger Ring a bell? I remember Harry Cary with the Sox, and the umpires with ties and the foam rubber sield. I was in Seattle when Jr. was at his prime. He was a cry baby then. He had a great period (90-97), and, I have played a total of zero mlb. games, but, frequently he couldn't come through when it was necessary.

Jr. is alright, and it was good to see him run the tank dry another topic. He shouldn't be in the hall just because he didn't cheat.

I was hoping you meant Earnhardt, Jr. Griffey is lazy, and a crybaby, always has been.
