I Got The Mrs. A Hummer

So I've had a few threads about my wife's driving, but last march she was side swiped pretty good (not her fault) but still haven't gotten the check from the insurance. The 3 weeks ago she was in the drive through at mcdonalds getting coffee and an old lady rear ended her twice (bounced off her and then hit her again) pushing her into the pintle of the silverado in front of her. The pintle went through the radiator and pretty much everything else including the block. So they totaled it. So we spent the last few weeks car shopping.

I was actually going to get her a brand new Tahoe but she saw this used h3 and really liked it. So she doesn't have much in the line of credit so I co signed for her to build credit. So we went from buying a $60,000 Tahoe to a $17,000 hummer. So I think I win.

I'll get some real pictures later

Re: I Got The Mrs. A Hummer

My wife daily drives a diesel excurion, her vehicle before was a v8 lifted dual exhaust 5.8 bronco. After she got the x she traded the bronco for a 65 289 stang.

The hummer to have is a 06 h1. Know a couple guys with them. They are still going for $150-200k for nice ones! One owner says it best, he can drive crazy and his wife can't reach him to hit him. He also has a 94 2 door/ 2 seater.

At least the h3's were said to get 20 mpg.

It will be totaled with in the year so it doesn't matter she's a driving target I swear.

But I know a few people that have them that have had good luck. I'm not worried about it.

Re: I Got The Mrs. A Hummer

How much does that thing weigh? I have a feeling in any accident, the Hummer wins!

Here's my sweet ride:

Gets 48 mpg in the city and about 44 on the highway.

With its 18 gallon tank, I visit the gas station once a month.

3,800 pounds of Japanese Steel (and plastic)!

You sure you don't want to just skip the middle man and go for an armored car or tank?
