Re: Hmmm....might Be Time...

Unfortunately no. Just a tote next to my chair.

Good news, is I am finding a few I forgot about. Some mundane, like an Angry Orchard Rose', or some wine coolers from many Easters ago, some less so.

A 2014 Blue Chimay, a 2013 Full Sail Wreck the Halls, or 2013 La Fin Du Monde.

Or my favorite bottle and one of my favorite beers a glowing the dark Dead Guy Ale. Probably a good. 10 years aged.

I have a few older ales on the shelf.

I guess you could say I collect beers like some collect fine books or baseball cards.

Wow, this was hiding in there. Where does the time go.

10 years between them. Hard to believe. I remember when the 2009 was just a young six pack out to prove itself.

Re: Hmmm....might Be Time...

Probably the absolute best beer I have ever tasted. Unfortunately, they fell victim to oversaturation of the craft beer market and brew pubs.

Out of business last year. Last 3 on the planet most likely.

Probably going to drink them up this summer, as they won't last as long as the Imperials or the Imperial stout/ale types.

I have a few 2001 Fuller Vintage Ales that just keep getting better. Two pulls and you are on your ass.

Re: Hmmm....might Be Time...

Unfortunately not. I have a few if the Dead Guy Ales. They put them out many years ago with glow in the dark labels for Halloween. Not sure if they still do.

I can get Dead Guy any time so I keep these for the collection.

I tend to hoard beer instead of drink it. I can drink a 6 pack, but find it hard to open a bomber.

Still defrostimg the fridge. Need to get up early, but need to wait to keep emptying the trays. Patience is the key to defrosting these old fridges. Can't use tools or picks because it is so expensive to fix them if you damage the coils.

Also, it will get to a point where you can gently pop the ice off. Then it goes quick after that.
