Help Me Move This House: Connecticut

Hey, I am hoping :whistling that someone may know someone who knows someone who would trully appreciate this 1mil home now being offered for...$779k:eek: I don't need to telly guys that that is below the builders cost, but they need to move it and have to sacrifice it. :furious:

Subdivision is still on track to be completed, but now with homes between $600k and $800k so someone is going to get a fantastic deal.

Check it out: http://www.harvest-view.com

We all have or know someone who has been in this position. Having known the builder for over 15 years, I know their work is top notch. I appreciate the help in spreading the word.

Thats a lot of hype. Less than 1% of the home owners are getting bailed out..But 95% of the banks took the money! :censored:

300K will get you into a decent trailer park here in CT.....I think we have one or two of them somewhere in the state....

Here in KC KS/MO that is about $500,000, and you will be the only house in the middle of a failed neighborhood. Plenty of sidewalks and streets to call your own though.

woohoo!

I still can't figure out why people want such big expensive Houses ??? 5 bedrooms ?? Why ? 8 kids ? Room for all the inlaws?? To me, this some of the American Sensless Ways!! More power to you guys- but just a common man's point of view.

Yer thinking about it all the wrong way MrMike, think of all the rooms that need to be painted.

WisePainter 05-01-2009 09:23 AM

wrong Mr Mike...lol.

I have done 12,000 sq ft homes here for retired couples that have kids in college. We grumbled all the day long under our breath about how wasteful that is.

Larry how much are the lots listed at? That house was overpriced for that area in these times anyways. I know that area like the back of my hand. Many of the N.M. builders are carrying homes similar to that and willing to unload them. Not pretty up that way right now.

Joe,

Yeah, we talked about this subdivision a while back. Its under new ownership now and is being re marketed to a much lower price point. That's why they need to sell this house for such a loss.

BOHA Lots start $139k and they will sell the lot alone, build to suit the buyer or the buyer can choose from one of a hand full of selected homes.

Let me know if you plan on stopping by, I'd like to finally meet you.
