Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!-thanksgiving.jpg

Sometimes the world gets a little crazy so I enjoy a day that reminds us to be thankful for the people in our lives. What are you thankful for this year?

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks Cricket. I am mostly thankful for my health, and my dog's too. Without health, nothing else really matters.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I have a lot to be thankful for -

- Beautiful wife and daughters

- Blessed with more business than we can handle, able to pick and choose what we want and refer out the rest.

- live in the best place in the world in my opinion, where a handshake can still a person's bond, good people, gorgeous landscape, plenty of game and fish, and still good money jobs with the lake and weekend ranch folks.

- great friends

- great family

- great business partners. Don't see each other everyday but we support one another and work well together

Very blessed and thankful

I truly am thankful this year for the lives of my wife and son. I almost lost one or both of them last week.

Blessings to all.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!

Most of all thankful that I have been able to move forward in a positive direction in my family life. Second is that I have enough to be able to donate a dinner to a family who is less fortunate.

My family means so much to me, Meta helped me think about it and everything seems to be to helping me remind me that when I come home... It's my wife and kids who matter, and that's worth a pink shirt or a cordial meeting with people I don't care for.

But one thing that's overlooked, is this fantastic nation I live in. Without it, I wouldn't have time to sit back and think of things to be thankful for. This country I was born into and have the obligation to hold onto, is the only real reason I have to honor this day of Thanksgiving... So unto God and His country, I thank you. God bless all! Sorry for the patriot/religion rant, I just love this holiday because it is the best holiday I can think of, it's selfless, it's loving... It is American.

It's a Festivus miracle!...

To go from a solid "no" to a "for you to make you happy" shows that Love knows no bounds...

Especially pink...

Probably could have talked her into a light purple...

Re: Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!

I'm thankful for so many things. Life is good, work is decently steady for this time of year and we are healthy. I'm spending the night smoking some hams, prepping some appetizers for tomorrow and chillin' with the family.

On a grumpier note, I suppose I am thankful I didn't strangle my dog tonight. He ate my rare Fried subwoofer. Or I suppose he finished eating it. He ate one woofer the other day and tonight I suppose he figured he might as well go all the way. He was hunting a mouse, so I suppose he got carried away...twice.

Considering the things a lot of folks are dealing with, it ain't all that bad.
