Much like water, a fat man will take the shape of his container. You're gonna fill those 38's in no time.

Trust me on this one, burn the 38's. Live in discomfort until you jog your way back into the 36's. I'm currently trying to work off so many more pounds than I would be, had I not said, "**** it, whatever."

Funny you mention this. I went from 36's to 38's in college 10 years ago. Been in them ever since. This year I told myself I'm gonna lose 50 lbs. I'm down 25 so far and back in the 36's. I immediately gave all my 38's to my brother. Kind of a burn your bridges type of deal I guess.

Re: Getting Old And Fat

I've been a 38" for many years and both shorts and jeans have fit perfect. New girlfriend loves going out to dinner but eats like a bird so I end up eating hers too.

Been almost 80 here in ny last two days so ive brought out the work shorts that I've been wearing for years.

I am no longer a 38

I was a 36 most of my life....the 36 varied in tightness for many years. Now I'm a 38...but it's getting snug!

That's the ones I try to find.

I only shop at good will though, so a belt comes in handy as well.

(I'll be polite) That combo I always see on the jeans shelf at the store.

If you can believe my avatar, at one time, I was 225 pounds of maturing blubber. And if I was being honest. more like 235. But yeah, 31` always on the waist.

Because it's a popular size. But my local stores have crap for inventory so they are always sold put of the popular sizes.

Re: Getting Old And Fat

When I was in high school I had a six pack... now the only six pack I got is in the refrigerator.
I was telling my wife I'm old with a belly, and she said she thinks it's "cute." I'm beginning to think that's code for, go hit the gym you fat [email protected]#%.
