Foreigner

I was never really a big rock and roll fan but some friends talked my wife and I into going to see Foreigner while we were at our home in the Rio Grand valley. Of course I recognized "Cold as Ice", "Feels Like the First Time" and "Waiting For a Girl Like You". But they also played a song called "Dirty White Boy" and it dawned on me that CT's own DWB must be a big Foreigner fan.

Re: Foreigner

Foreigner is LEGIT.

They have so so so many hits. It's unreal. They're one of those bands that you don't even realize how much of their catalog you know every word to. I'm sure they do a killer show.

Also, they are indirectly responsible for one of the greatest moments in cartoon history.

Re: Foreigner

I think DWB was actually a dirty white boy.

Got his nickname framing a roof. Somebody yelled "hey dirty white boy". That's the story I remember anyhow.

After 4 I kinda lost interest in their newer stuff.

This is a cool Stones / Foreigner mix from Great White.

Not sure, but I think the band lost a guitarist in the fire and then they went on hiatus for a while.

What'sit my haole brudda?

In fairness to the racist Hawaiians... if my family lived in Hawaii, which is objectively paradise on Earth, for generations and generations, then some white guys showed up and brought snakes, spiders, and mosquitoes with them, I would hate the starch out of those people forever.
That's a true story. Hawaii had no f'n mosquitoes until Cap'n Cook showed up infested with the things. I'd have killed him too.
