Re: Fore!!!

I've had a diamond back rattlesnake inches from my ball. Also had a Bobcat within feet from me as well. Golf courses have a lot of rabbits, so with that you get a lot of predators. That gator probably thought that was an egg.

So how far away from the gator can you be to drop a ball?

Re: Fore!!!

Reminds me of a joke:

Guy walks into a bar with a monkey on his side, the second he sits down the monkey goes wild, jumps up on the bar, eats a handful of peanuts, grabs an olive out of a martini glass, jumps on the pool table and swallows the cue ball.

Next week the same gentleman stops in at the same bar with his monkey, just as he sits down the monkey jumps up on the bar, grabs a maraschino cherry and shoves it up his ass, pulls it out and proceeds to eat it.

The bartender says to the man "WTF that monkey just shoved a cherry up it's ass then ate it?"

Tha man replies, "Yeah, ever since he ate that cue ball he's been doing that"

The cue ball went down easier than it came out.

I get that, but still.

Probably good enough after a few Canadian beers.

Re: Fore!!!

Here Mark...some people just can't tell a joke...

Quote:
A guy walks into a bar with his pet monkey. He orders a drink, and while he's drinking, the monkey jumps all over the place, eating everything behind the bar. Then the monkey jumps on to the pool table and swallows a billiard ball.

The bartender screams at the guy, "Your monkey just ate the cue ball off my pool table -- whole!"

"Sorry," replied the guy. "He eats everything in sight, the little bastard. I'll pay for everything."

The man finishes his drink, pays and leaves.

Two weeks later, he's in the bar with his pet monkey, again. He orders a drink, and the monkey starts running around the bar. The monkey finds a maraschino cherry on the bar. He grabs it, sticks it up his ass, pulls it out and eats it.

The bartender is disgusted. "Did you see what your monkey did now?" he asks.

"Yeah," replies the guy. "He still eats everything in sight, but ever since he swallowed that cue ball, he measures stuff first."

Re: Fore!!!

I'm guessing the gator will have no problem with the golf balls. You'd need some dedication to collect balls in that area.

There you go - I knew an ex-barkeep would sort it out.
