Re: Filet Mignon Or Ribeye?

Ribeye. Its the ONLY steak I eat. Only fresh though. Otherwise, might as well get a hamburger steak. And only on charcoal if at home. MEDIUM RARE . medium is ok

Re: Filet Mignon Or Ribeye?

I get filets when I eat out because the ribeyes are far too often thick cut strips.

Re: Filet Mignon Or Ribeye?

I like both but if the fillets are crap I get ribeyes. Got my self one them the wireless thermometers that connect to my phone. It's been the single best investment in grilling I ever bought. Burgers, chicken, fish, steak etc eye perfect every time no matter what neat or charcoal brand

Re: Filet Mignon Or Ribeye?

I am a grill master. Always perfection. Im rarely satisfied with an out to eat steak unless its over 50 at this point.

I go to krogers and get the 20 a lb stuff. Good every time.

Re: Filet Mignon Or Ribeye?

Ribeye. But why stop there? There are more flavorful cuts, just harder to cook tender. Flank is a favorite from my grill. Been grilling a lot of sweet potatoes as sides lately.
