My boy's been in the AF for a year and a half now, and still hasn't qualified with a firearm. When he was in boot in TX, the day they were supposed to go, it was too cold.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong but when my Dad was in the Marines soldiers actually died from heat exhaustion. They were pretty hard core back then.

My great Aunt Ina decided one day to sent him chocolate chip cookies while he was in boot camp. They put a garbage can over his head while the others ate the cookies.
