Favorite Beers

Havent seen a beer thread in a while.

Mine is Nitro Milk Stout from Lefthand Brewing about 20 mins from me.

Heavy body like Guinness but smoother. Smoothest stout I have ever had.

KJ, I agree that is a great beer!
I really like almost any of the aged in barrel beers especially Bourbon barrels.....the ABV will get ya if you're not careful....

Re: Favorite Beers

Here in bloomington IN, upland brewery made an imperial IPA called "coastbusters". I love it, but its one of those $10 for a 4 pack of 12 oz and im just too cheap/poor for that at the moment.... So i stick to 30 packs of Hamm's @ $11.99/30 pack

ok, bad joke..sorry

My go-to beer is now Kona Longboard. One of the food stores seems to always have it on sale, too (12.99/12 pack bottle)

Right now I'm sipping heiny (can), since a condo vacancy had 1/2 a case left in the fridge.

Re: Favorite Beers

I guess I'm all alone here, but my go to beer is Budweiser. I prefer cans over bottles. I think it gets colder.

My wife don't like Bud, so we compromise and go with Corona. Others I like:
Shock Top
Shock Top Apple
Nega Modela (not sure of spelling)

Negra Modelo...

I'm always up for a good oatmeal stout, but when I got to the beer isle I couldn't make up my mind so I got an Irish Death also.

Currently drinking Flying Dog Raging B-Word.

Earlier today I was in a pub for lunch in Bayonne and got a 2.50 pint of Budweiser, which is apparently still something that can happen in 2014. I left a 100% tip. hah

I never caught-on to fruit in my beer. My wife likes it: lime, orange..depends on the beer. I just drink the beer, has to be cold.

Re: Favorite Beers

Bud light or coors original for me... if I have beer that is. I'm more of a whiskey and coke type of fella.

The wife likes blue moon or michelob ultra.
