For shame.
Well, yes, but for the sake of brownies and cookies.

BAH! A lot of waiting - nothing happening here yet. Had a great steak, though.

Wow. The news is hyping this as the worst storm ever. Even called for thunder-snow.

Is it ever "over the top" sensationalism?

Y'all be safe!

Got up to give the driveway a shovel so I can leave early and shovel the clients driveway and still be to work on time...but there's nothing to shovel. If we got an inch last night I'd be surprised.

Edit: the forecast for us overnight was 15-24 inches

It's coming down pretty good now though. Looks like 3-4 inches in the last 2 hours.

What a bust, going to be some very unhappy people around here. Some people will lose a lot of money today since they closed everything yesterday, now they are saying employees must be paid for time missed. Business owners get screwed again.

Doesn't look like much so far - drifting is going to cause problems, though. Hopefully the plow guys are making their money today.

It was pretty spooky at 7, I shouldnt have left. Traveled some back roads to get to customers and out of no where bam, 3' snow drift, snow all over my windshield.

Good time eh?

Re: East Coasters - What Are You Doing On Tuesday?

They shut the state down for this. Issued warnings for giving out summons for traveling? Big fizzle. Got about 12-14", hard to tell because of the drifting. My driveway is done. I threw all the snow into the road figuring that we were in for another 12 hours of snowfall and the plows would be by another dozen times or so. The sun is shining through the clouds, it stopped snowing about 9:15am Did all that prep for a normal snow.

This incorrect forecast cost billions in lost business for many people in NY/NJ. Bridges and tunnels were closed until 8am today.

Next time no one will listen at all

Re: East Coasters - What Are You Doing On Tuesday?

Gov Dannel boy make the announcement that our travel ban will be lifted at 2pm today. You know, even though they forecast the storm to last until tomorrow. Over hyped storm. They should wait until there is snow on the ground before shutting down the state.
