Stopped by a buddy with a big repair on his hands. A Jewish synagogue with sloped cedar plank ceilings had firesprinklers in the rafter bays that froze. Took the fire dept over an hour and a half to kill it. The water damage is extensive, this was a second floor too soo all of the offices below and basement took loads of water.

It been a miserable cold month

Re: East Coasters - What Are You Doing On Tuesday?

I set the square in front of the heater this morning to melt the ice off it . Then leaned it against my mini scaffold .. This Is what happened when I moved the mini.. That's a cold sub floor !!!

It sat there like that long enough for me to walk out to the truck and change the batteries in the camera ..Then walk back in the house to take the pic.

Same here. The extra four inches of snow we got Sunday night and the 8" we got yesterday are really helping to keep the heat in.

Things have been melting here, but lots of ice. I'm not looking forward to when it does snow again. All the piles are like solid concrete.

There's a town in Jersey - Marlton - named after the Marl Clay under the grass: hard, thick and very sticky when wet.

Yup, I found out yesterday what we thought was our drive way was actually our yard. So we have 5' ice mounds on either side so we have to drive through the mud.
