Ha ha! You would've hated me then. I drank in excess every time I drank. Never could have that 1 or 2 with dinner. And I smoked 2 packs a day, more when I was drinking. A little divine intervention, and its been 5 years since I've picked up a drink and 3 years since I lit up a cigarette. I know my body is just physically unable to drink like normal people. Total abstinence is what I must have.

As far as what I do? Not telling.
I am not going to get into it, but Christians are some of the best keepers of the Earth. Never understood where that nonsense thinking came from.

I wish people wouldn't make ignorant comments, but then again, I would lose most of my posts.

Don't smoke or chew but enjoy a couple of glasses of wine every week.

I actually didn't mean to come across as confrontational. Although, catch me on the right day and I might debate you on the "best keepers" comment all day.

I think Golden view said it better.

I have the occasional beer or wine now, no whisky or rum, they make me scrappy. Smoke occasional cigar if working outside.

People always assume Im a hard drinker.

Re: Don't Drink Don't Smoke?

None of the above...now. I used to try to "Drink Canada Dry". I finally had enough, and quit, right before I was diagnosed with diabetes (crap). Smoking? Not so much. I always hated when smoking coworkers were awarded all those extra 5 minute breaks during the day. But I have to admit, I don't mind the smell of a fresh lit cig when its really cold out.

I think I'm going to have to quit this forum now.

There is no way I will ever be able to keep up with these standards.

Yeah, actually they are pretty nasty.

I inhale my tobacco. I'm so smart!

I used to work with two guys who "dipped". They'd both walk around with a bottle of filth all day. I knew it was going to happen one day, especially when they started recycling coffee cups to spit in. Sure enough, Dweedle Dee drank Tweedle Dums spit.

I never smoked cigarettes or cigars...

I rarely drink, usually around family. Don't really care for beer. If I drink it's whiskey.
