Christmas Shows...what's Your Favorite?

This is my favorite movie, A Christmas Story. And my favorite scene, the leg lamp. I was working with a strange dude a year or so ago, he didn't talk much. Working in a commercial kitchen, he spots the new sink in the box, on the side says "fragile" and he goes into this skit.

Re: Christmas Shows...what's Your Favorite?

national lampoons is always a classic, however i never really liked a christmas story, the fact tbs starting running it 24 hrs straight at xmas doesnt help

anyhow.. a few others are the mickey christmas carol, loved that as a kid, the claymation santa claus and rudolph.. but one that never seems to get played anymore is the muppet family christmas , the one with the muppets, sesame street & fragels..

but of course the one and only, king of the gretch, the guy whos band i took my other nickname from, brian setzer's rockin christmas

Re: Christmas Shows...what's Your Favorite?

I can count on one hand the number of times that I DIDN'T see Rudolph since it first came out. They used to always show a Norelco shaver ad back then with the tall elf that wore glasses riding on the shaver through the snow.
2nd place would be an old low budget version of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" that was done by the phone company and used marianets (puppets) that you could see all the strings hanging down. It was in black & white and actually it seemed a little creepy.

Mine - Christmas Vacation
Wife's - It's a Wonderful Life

Dr Seuss' Grinch that Stole Christmas is also a must see during the season. My soon to be 4 year old Granddaughter should love it this year....If I can get by the questions

Re: Christmas Shows...what's Your Favorite?

On another site, this came across as the worst holiday special ever. I can't even fathom what they were thinking. This is just as awful as anything can get.

The Star Wars Holiday Special. I'm not kidding.

All of the Star Wars actors are in the show.
