Re: Chitchat

Started pulling my downstairs floor up due to the hickory blackening. Found some mold under it. About 14 years ago I put down a water sealing adhesive, glued and screwed 3/4 ply down to the slab. Then I put a nail-on floor on top of that. This is the second floor in 14 years. The first one just got old and the plywood was pristine after 12 years. How does a person know if the moisture is from too much irrigation, or a water line leak under the slab? Can't imagine why there would be a water line there anyway. It's running right smack dab through the living room.

My plumber owes me a favor. Just last week I was able to get him and his wife one week free at a vacation rental I remodeled a couple years back. It's right on the beach.

I guess my point about the diets was, somebody has got to be wrong if you look at all the diets out there and how different they are from each other. So who really knows...?

There are certainly some main things that we can all agree on I guess and past that, I respect my wife a lot and what she tells me and I guess we will see in about 60 years where I'm at if I'm still around.
Most of the people I have known that lived over 90 had a diet that for the most of their life was fried food. But, they lived a more active life than most folks do there days.
