The Cars That Made America

Enjoying a great TV show.
Like "The Men who Built America" this is about Henry Ford, the Dodge brothers, Durant, Chevolette and Walter Chrysler.

Very cool history timeline evolution.

Look out for it. https://www.history.com/shows/the-ca...on-1/episode-1

It was on in succession last night. Really interesting history. To it all the way to the 90's

Re: The Cars That Made America

While doing research on one of my books, I remember reading a story about the very early days of developing steam-powered cars (late 1800s), and it said, "Maybe one day, we'll all be riding around in our own little locomotives."

You ever wonder what America would look like if we had never had "our own little locomotives"?

It would probably be a bit smokey.....But I have always wanted a steam engine, not sure why other than I think they are kinda cool.
