Canada Day!

Have a good one, ladies and gents. I just got back from a buddies cabin. Had to shingle 'er yesterday. Getting a good shower, then the wobbly pops shall be flowin'. Apparently they are doing a giant movie screen in the harbour made from water! Looks like it should be a clear day for the fireworks, too.

EDIT: Also, free agency starts today! Who's going where? What team will get Parise? My phone is going to be blown up over the next few days with email updates from NHL.

Re: Canada Day!

My city cancelled the Canada Day celebrations due to the massive rain and flooding.

I am going to celebrate by fixing my washed out driveway.

You're thinking of our neighbors to the south. Canada Day is El primero de julio.

The Cunukistans are sharp enough to realize we've FUBAR'd our country, so they're content to chill out in the Great White North, eat donuts & back bacon, & swig Molson.
