Bigfoot Hunter Claims To Have Killed Beast And Has Proof

Ok, assuming for even a second this is true, what makes it even remotely expectable that this pathetic individual should believe he has the right to shoot and kill such a creature?

Re: Bigfoot Hunter Claims To Have Killed Beast And Has Proof

Heard the story on a morning show I listen to. THEY claim the same guy "claimed to have captured Bigfoot a few years ago as well".

Which doesn't make that 100% accurate, but that's what they said. I didn't research it myself.

EDIT: Ok, I just read the snopes article. At the bottom it says "jproffer isn't breaking any NEWS here"

Re: Bigfoot Hunter Claims To Have Killed Beast And Has Proof

Animal planet is a few miles outside of my town right now filming. Been here all of my life. Grew up in the woods hunting and fishing. Never seen big foot but yet they'll come to town for a week and see all kinds of signs and hear noises that have to be from bigfoot. Anything for money I guess.

Lets assume he did shoot it. I am sure the "monster" will have human DNA, so the dope should be charged with murder.

I don't believe in mandatory minimum sentencing, but I do believe in extxremely harsh penalties for shooting bigfoot.
I think we should allow his shoddy evidence to be proof that he killed bigfoot, then allow that shoddy evidence to be used against him in a court of law.

It's legal to shoot Bigfoot in Texas. Not sure about other states.

Re: Bigfoot Hunter Claims To Have Killed Beast And Has Proof

Here's my other thoughts on Bigfoot. Unless it's a magical creature, if it did exist, somebody would have gotten pics on a game cam. Think about the millions of game cams set up by hunters everywhere in the world. Some of those cams would have gotten pics of Bigfoot if it existed. Unless of course it's a magical creature.

Easy, our legal system doesn't work that way.

Start from the perspective of, there is absolutely nothing that is illegal, anyone can do anything. Then, start limiting what they can do by making specific actions illegal. We made it illegal to kill people under some circumstances. We made it illegal to kill certain animals under certain circumstances.

The courts don't allow laws that are "general" in nature, they toss them as being "overly broad." So, until there are laws that specifically outlaw killing a bigfoot under specific circumstances, it will remain legal.

Bigfoot is clearly humanoid, therefor should be subject to the same protections all humans are in America.
Once I get my legal dreamteam together and run a train of quack anthropologists through the courtroom the jury will have no choice but to afford Mr. Foot all the rights he needs to get justice and a healthy settlement for Mrs. Foot.

Why? you can't kill something that doesn't exist.

Intersting, that's not the way it is in Canada. There is an open season for various animals, not a closed season for some animals.

Also I thought that hunting regulations were state specific

Re: Bigfoot Hunter Claims To Have Killed Beast And Has Proof

How come, with everyone having cell phones, security cameras, google maps, etc, do we not have any better Bigfoot footage?

The best footage is still that grainy shaky 70's clip.
