Big Box Parking Lot-DIY Photo Of The Day

After what I saw at Home Depot today.
I thought it might be fun to have a thread where we can post photos of some of the funny stuff you see in the parking lot of the big box home improvement stores.
Here's my photos of the day.

Re: Big Box Parking Lot-DIY Photo Of The Day

I didn't get a picture, but I did make about $200 from a poorly loaded Home Depot customer.

I passed the depot as the person had a trailer loaded with all the weight on the back. The trailer must have been 10' long with 16' deck boards. You see where this is going? He blows past me and then cuts me off. I was about ready to pull out the AR15 and do the world a favor. But god entervened and the ahole started fishing tailing the trailer. Or more like the trailer fish tailed him.

Next thing I know the boards are all sliding off the trailer. So like the good person I am, picked them up. He never stopped. At the next light, he turned and gased it. Christmas in july. I picked up a bunch more. By now , my truck is full, I turned around and went back to the depot, returned without a receipt, got credit and then bought tools.

Re: Big Box Parking Lot-DIY Photo Of The Day

At least she didn't park in the loading zone.

I don't frequent the place except when it is the closest and I need mud.

Love to wheel in and see the loading zone filled with sedans and SUV's loading up with like 4 studs and a box of nails.

Meanwhile I have to cart out 10 bags of mud to the other end of the parking lot.

Got this one at Lowe's.
10 sheets of drywall and 12 2'x4's. All tied down with 2.5 bungies.

Re: Big Box Parking Lot-DIY Photo Of The Day

Love it! Sad thing is I went to a lumber yard a few weeks ago with a buddy. I was helping him rebuild a small deck. Before I went I asked if I needed to drive my truck. He said no I can borrow my cousins. So I drove the 1 1/2 hours to go help him. Turns out the truck wasn't available! We loaded a bunch of 16' material in the back of his GMC Acadia. The look on the yard boys faces when they saw the list and then the vehicle..priceless!

Re: Big Box Parking Lot-DIY Photo Of The Day

OK I had to call my wife in on that picture. She has that exact car, Honda S2000. I guess now if I need something she can't have an excuse that it won't fit in her car.

I was at HD once and a lady pulls up to the garden center area in her new white Lexus with white interior. The kid pushes a cart full of wet bags of top soil. He asks her to open the trunk and she proceeds to open the back door and tells him to put the bags on the back seat because she can't lift them over the trunk ledge to get them out.

A couple weeks ago at the same HD some guy speeds past me in the exit with a BMW that has a 16' piece of baseboard that is sticking out his drivers window. The thing is bent way up in the air and he is just exiting the parking lot. He pulled onto a 4 lane highway and I can't imagine that board didn't snap within 30 seconds.

Nah, three houses down there was an F250 in the exact same situation 'cept maybe worse because it crushed the cab too. This was from one of the dozen or so tornadoes that hit the Dallas/Fort Worth area today.

This was down the street from one of our son's house. You can hardly see the Camry parked next to the truck.
