Ribeye 132/1.5 hours , Balsamic butter sauce.

I asked my wife how she wants the ribeye done, she replys with the balsamic sauce the place down the street makes when she orders a filet. So Google led me to this recipe. (I think the place down the street simply serves reduced balsamic..)

1 clove garlic, sliced

1/3 cup aged balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon minced red chile pepper

1/2 teaspoon tomato paste

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter


From Food Wishes.

I didnt have the chili paste so I added flakes, the pepper got away from me, good thing I like it.

Just a big slicing knife Mike. Made fourteen 1" steaks and a small roast of it.

Here's what I found inside it Mike.

Top steak was the end and the bottom was somewhere out of the middle. $7.19/lb. Each steak is about 1 lb +/-

Those are beautiful knives . I like my old Hickory knives , cheap and will sharpen to a razor edge .

Havenít done any hunting in the last few years . I did go out one day and shot a few squirrels this year . Made them into some squirrel and dumplings.

I've eaten squirrel a couple times and it always tasted like ****. Maybe cause it's swampy here? Our hogs taste like butthole too. Actually not even a fan of the deer here. Guessing it's the area and what they eat cause I've always eaten squirrel out of live oaks.
