Re: 2020 NFL Season

The riots are b.s. No excuse. But so is calm and understated "let's get all the facts out" b.s. when something flagrant (and maybe on-camera) happens. Shot in the back? Hard to understand why they need to get a better understanding.

When and if I ever state that any of this is over police brutality...just shoot me because I have lost all sense of reason.

It's what they claim, not you. Doesn't make it right. Not at all.

Re: 2020 NFL Season

Should have let the rapist drive off with three small kids in the car that's better.
Not to mention that he could have been going for a knife.

Com'on Man!

Exactly why it's asinine to assume they just shot him in the back without good reason. You are making my point.

With that said what we do know is there were 3 young kids in the car and that alone was enough to shoot the pos. If he was going for a knife that just seals the deal.

When was the last time you were in the position of the police officer you're arm chair quarterbacking? I'm a little biased, because I have several good friends who are LEO's & have heard first hand accounts of what they go through in these situations.

Re: 2020 NFL Season

If they had let him go and those kids ended up dead or injured, would people think the cops did the right thing by just letting him go? Or if he came back later and killed his "fiance".

Nope. They would have said they should have stopped him at all costs to save the kids. How could you let a criminal just get away. Cops hate black kids, hate black women, cops were cowards, cops should ahve been better trained and stopped him

There was no way for them to do the perceived correct thing.

That makes it very hard to be a cop these days.

I didn't say it was easy. And I had plenty of invitations to ride along and get a taste of what happens, and the implication was clear. Lots of stories, too. That was back in the Rizzo days in Philly.

A public defender buddy once told me this: his clients lie all the time...and so do the police.

I challenge you to watch this video to the very end & give us a monday morning QB on this one.

BTW one dead & one critically injured. This situation is not that much different than the one you're questioning why he was shot in the back.

Getting shot in the back is basically a metaphor for crossing the line. I'm not judging any one case, even the one you think I was referencing. I could have said knelt on neck for two minutes...same thing.

Yes, there's lots of crazy chit out there.

If we're going back to the Rizzo days, you could have said dropped a bomb on a residential area and destroyed 65 homes, displacing an entire neighborhood, while simultaneously burning children alive, then shooting the others that tried to escape the fire.

But.... it's a tough job.

You make judgements based on edited/cropped video's posted in a way to advance a narrative, rather than assessing all the facts before passing judgement. That's the trap todays media sets for you & you not only take the bait, you run with it.

As for getting shot in the back, did you watch the video I posted? **** happens incredibly fast & LEO has a split second to make a decision that if they get it wrong, could very well leave them laying on the side of the road bleeding out.

But yeah, go ahead & keep passing judgement based on video's you've been able to watch time & again & pick apart rather than have to decide in a split second.

Cause hombre was reaching for a weapon.

Look man, Im all about reformation of the cops, but you refuse arrest and reach into your vehicle... you got it coming to ya. Black, white, or purple, not a good idea...

I believe the police officer was very restrained---7 shots and still alive, could have been worse....
