Very cool, really interesting design and execution...looks like I'll have to buy yet another router bit. I had a similar project come up a few years ago and opted for veneer plaster over concrete board. Venetian plaster seems to be coming popular with a few courses around here.

Looks great! Very similar to the method we used for assembling ACM panels.

Aluminum Composite Material. Basically 1/4" sheet stock that is plastic sandwiched with aluminum.
