Tool To Track Customers

What technology do you use to keep track of customers?

Have been using Excel but my list well exceeds 1,000 records and I am seeking a new solution. What do you guys use as a customer database/CRM?

I just bought Quicken Home/Business (but only use for business). This is my first year, but it seems so much better than Excel so far.

I was hoping to find something that is online so it can be shared with others and I can access when out of the office.

I started using gmail for all my business emails, I know it looks more professional to have name@yourwebsite, but you can add customers name, phone number, address, notes, job number, etc... so easily to gmail. It automatically updates to your contacts on your smart phone or you can access it online.

Re: Tool To Track Customers

I'm not sure how big your company is, but you may want to look into small business servers. Several people can have access to you business software, you can also dial into the server from home or remote locations.
