Just got my first smart phone ,was wondering how long those touch screen protecters last?

Re: Smart Phone Screen Protection

Depends on how many times you swipe your muddy grimy paw across it.

If you keep it clean quite awhile.

I know of two guys that are going over two years with their screen protectors....

I keep my phone in my bags it really gets a lot of abuse and the original protector has been on there for over a year

If it's an iphone get a life case. Be as rough and dirty with it as you want.

They can last years...or until the little scratches start to bother you.

Honestly the glass on smartphones is pretty durable and adding a screen protector rarely prevents much damage.

I'll back up the recommendation for a Life Case. Tough little thing.

Try the Invisibleshield. There pretty amazing! I can't stand the clicking noise of the case screen covers. I just remove them and use the Invisibleshield.

I have had an iPhone for a couple of years now and with the otter box defender case I have been very rough on it and had no ill effects.

I have my screen protector for over 3 years now. As long as you keep it clean and protected, it should last you till you get a new phone. =)

It will outlast the phone 100% of the time if you drop it in a toilet.

Who asks these questions?

the otterbox defender series doesn't have an effect with polarized sunglasses. I wear them everyday and can see my phone with no problems.

The otter box is the way to go. I had my iPhone 4 in one for almost two years and it looked new when I sold it ( upgraded to 4s)
