Sketch Up

Hey guys,

My sketch up is coming up for renewal and with the changes they made this year my wife can no longer get me an teachers deal. This means itís going to cost me $300 to renew.

I am ok with spending that if itís still the best option out there. I use it for a bunch of different things but mainly for basement floor plans and decks. I also draw up a few built in cabinets every year.

Any better programs?

Re: Sketch Up

I typically find myself using it for cabinet layouts, decks, and the occasional floor plan as well.

Personally though? I can get it to do 90% of what I want with the free version. Granted I am missing out on a handful of useful things by not paying for the full version.

Short of a fullblown ArchCAD setup, I'd stick with Sketchup.
